Carlsberg’s “MesmeRICEsing” Cans Celebrate Sabah & Sarawak’s Harvest Heritage

Carlsberg has introduced a limited artist-edition packaging series designed by Sabahan artist Nelson Lip and Sarawakian artist T. Bagak, featuring illustrations that reflect elements tied to the harvest celebrations of Kaamatan and Gawai.

Carlsberg Smooth Draught will feature these designs throughout the year, while Carlsberg Danish Pilsner joins the series for a limited time in April and May.

To mark the occasion, the annual Carls Harvest Pesta will take place from 15 to 18 May at Farley Kuching. The 4-day celebration includes live music, cultural dance performances, and food offerings showcasing both Bornean flavours and fusion cuisine.

Visitors can also take part in hands-on workshops like rice art bracelet making, resin art, and cocktail mixing at the CarlsBar. Tuak Bombs will be served every two hours, and early arrivals will receive a complimentary can of Carlsberg.

In-store promotions will offer limited-edition MesmeRICEsing collectable plates (while stocks last), along with chances to win prizes such as the iPhone 16 Pro, iPad Air, and Apple Watch Series 10.
