The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky which includes Islay and Speyside whiskies. It is the first release to come out of the Pernod Ricard and Sovereign Brands partnership.
Sovereign Brands is a family-owned, international wine & spirits company headquartered in New York, owned and operated by the Berish family. Its portfolio of brands includes Luc Belaire, a line of French sparkling wines, McQueen and the Violet Fog, gin from Jundiaí, Brazil; Bumbu, a craft rum; and Villon, a spiced French liqueur with aromas of vanilla, chai, and toasted oak.

A nose of charred orange, sweet malty biscuits and woodsmoke.Palate: Juicy orange, delicate spice, and tangy peat.Finish: sweet and smoky, long and smooth.
