The GlenAllachie 11yo for Lunar New Year 2025

The GlenAllachie launched a celebratory limited edition single malt to mark Lunar New Year 2025: an 11-year-old Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso & Virgin Oak Cask Finish, bottled at 48%.

Glenallachie is an award-winning independent company led by Scotch whisky stalwart Billy Walker, a
qualified chemist and distinguished cask innovator.

The special release single malt was matured in premium Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks from Spain, as well as toasted and charred virgin oak barrels.

The 15th series signifies another landmark moment in Octomore history, with the 15.3 coming in at a 307.2 phenol parts per million (PPM). This latest release is second only to the renowned Octomore 8.3 in terms of extreme phenol content – with the 8.3 believed to be the most heavily-peated spirit in the world to date at 309 PPM.

Organised by The Marini’s Group, the Viva Marini Bartending Competition is an annual event that aims to provide a platform for bartenders to showcase their creativity, technique, and storytelling through cocktails. 

Introduced in 2022 as part of the group’s 10th anniversary celebrations, the competition was created to support the local bartending community and highlight the evolving craft of mixology in Malaysia.
