Jin Gastrobar now has a range of Tomatin whiskies available at its bar and they recently held a whisky pairing dinner event to introduce it.
The 4-course dinner pairing featured Scott Adamson, Blender and Global Brand Ambassador at Tomatin Distillery, with who took us through the background of the brand and the 4 available variants at the bar.
The Tomatin Legacy (RM500) was paired with a citrus-kissed poach king prawn with tomato relish.
The Tomatin 12 Year Old (RM600) was paired with a sole meuniere with green pea puree, vine-ripe cherry tomatoes, topped with T’Lur Caviar Vinaigrette Drizzle.
The Tomatin 14 Year Old (RM750) was paired with a herb-crusted lamb En Croute.
The Tomatin 18-Year Old (RM1,000) was paired with a pear Belle Helene with Hazelnut Chocolate Torte
Jin Gastrobar is located in Aurum Theatres in KL and JB. Jin (gold in Chinese), offers F&B at the restaurant or served directly to your seat in the Aurum Theatre. Their menu covers appetisers, main cources, non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails and spirits. There's even a wine selection too.
Jin is opened for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. There's also live music performances in the evening.
