Hennessy has marked the arrival of Chinese New Year 2026 with the launch of a limited-edition collection celebrating the Year of the Horse.
The release features specially designed editions of Hennessy V.S.O.P, Hennessy X.O, and Hennessy Paradis. The collection also reflects Hennessy’s long-standing relationship with Chinese culture, which dates back to 1859, when the Maison first shipped twelve crates of Old Pale Cognac to China.
In Malaysia, the Hennessy Chinese New Year 2026 Limited-Edition Collection is now available at selected retail stores, supermarkets, wine specialists, and Chinese independent retailers nationwide.
In conjunction with the release, Hennessy is also running a “Golden Giveaway” promotion, where purchases of the Chinese New Year limited editions made from now until 31 March 2026 are eligible for instant rewards, weekly prizes, and a grand draw. Weekly prizes include items such as Hennessy X.O, dining vouchers, luxury leather goods, and electronics, while the grand draw will see eight winners each receive a 50g gold bar.
To participate, consumers can scan the QR code on the bottle and submit a unique code revealed beneath a scratch sticker. Entries vary by expression, with V.S.O.P earning one entry and X.O earning three.
In conjunction with the festivities, Hennessy has also debuted its Chinese New Year single and music video, Raise for Luck! (好運乾一杯!), featuring Chang Yong, Shu Sen, Jeryl Lee, DJ Blink, Zhen Ning, and Victoria Ng.
