Penfolds has unveiled its 2026 Lunar New Year collection to celebrate the Year of the Horse, introducing a limited-edition gifting series alongside an interactive pop-up experience in Kuala Lumpur.
The collection is led by Penfolds’ flagship Grange 2021 (RM4,113) and includes Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon (RM2,729), St Henri Shiraz (RM496), Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz (1.5L = RM1,243; 750ml = RM453), and FWT 585 Cabernet Merlot Petit Verdot (RM438).
The Grange gift box also includes a detachable tool that can be converted into a Penfolds keyring. Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz is offered in a 1.5L magnum format with a gift box, as well as a 750ml bottle featuring Lunar New Year artwork on the label.
The Penfolds Lunar New Year Horse Collection will be available in
Malaysia at the Penfolds pop-up at The Exchange TRX and through selected
fine wine retailers, including The Chamber, City Cellar by Isetan,
Mercato by GCH Group, and Jaya Grocer.
To mark the release, Penfolds will host a Lunar New Year pop-up at The Exchange TRX from 6 to 15 February 2026 (10am - 10pm daily).
The pop-up features personalised calligraphy sessions, walk-in tastings, and a ticketed guided tasting experience priced at RM188 per person, which will include selected wines from the Lunar New Year collection, namely Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon, Bin 389 Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz, and FWT 585 Cabernet Merlot Petit Verdot. While walk-in guests can register directly at the pop-up, only limited spaces are available for each session. So best to register in advance via this link.
