Vietnam's Lady Triệu Gin

We recently got acquainted with Vietnam’s most awarded gin and best-selling craft gin (per IWSR), Lady Triệu, at Triptyk Kuala Lumpur.
The brand, launched in 2020, leans into Vietnam’s biodiversity — citrus, florals, tea, spice — pulled from different regions of the country and bottled into five distinct expressions.
Masterclass by Javin Chia (Lady Trieu Gin Master Distiller) and  Angel Ng (Triptyk)
Named after the legendary 3rd-century warrior queen Bà Triệu, Lady Triệu Gin is distilled in small batches at its distillery in Củ Chi, just outside Saigon.

Here’s the line-up that's available in Malaysia:

Contemporary Vietnam Gin
The flagship - a bright hit of kumquat, mandarin, and orange peel, balanced with warming spice (ginger, red pepper, cubeb) and finished with a dry oolong tea note. Versatile and easy to mix.

Hoi An Spice Road
Inspired by the markets of Hoi An. Ginger and lime peel bring citrus heat, while black cardamom adds a smoky undertone.

Dalat Flowerbomb
Floral and delicate, with jasmine, chrysanthemum, and lotus layered over soft citrus.

Sapa Citrus Tea
Highland oolong tea meets zesty citrus (lime, pomelo, Buddha’s hand). Pepper and cardamom keep it lively.

Mekong Delta Dry
Earthy, grassy, and sharper than the rest — closer to a classic dry style but with a Vietnamese twist of herbs and spice.

Lady Triệu is now available in Malaysia via selected outlets and distributor Luen Heng, retailing at RM375 for a 700ml bottle (43% ABV).
