Campari and Imbibe Magazine reunite for the global celebration of one of the world’s most iconic cocktails, once again partnered Slow Food, raising funds to support the hospitality industry.
In 2024, Negroni Week saw the participation from nearly 13k venues across 90 countries, raising over USD600k. Funds were used for scholarships via the Negroni Week Fund Innovation Award and micro-grants supporting community projects.
Here in Malaysia, 165 venues nationwide are serving up their own Negroni creations, including premium donor contributors Marini’s On 57, Mesa On 51, Troika Sky Dining, and Bar Two Pour One.

- 26 Sept – Campari Guest Shift feat. Giri Pancha @ Jann Bar, Four Points Sheraton Chinatown KL
To mark the launch, the Campari Red Hands Malaysia Finals was held at Il Forno, Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur. The competition challenges bartenders to create innovative cocktails rooted in the Negroni Family Tree, with national winners advancing to the Asia Finals — and ultimately to the Grand Finale in Milan, where they vie for the title of Campari Red Hands Asia Champion 2025.
Malaysia’s five finalists were - Jason Yee (Dear
Hearts & Chilled Spirits), Rosyam Hakimi (Smith & Wollensky KL),
Thanesh Joel (Backdoor Bodega), Justin Yow (Good Friends Club), and
Audney Fulgado (The Vault).
Thanesh Joel of Backdoor Bodega emerged champion and will go on to represent Malaysia at the APAC Finals in Milan, January 2026.
