Monkey Shoulder is bringing Studio Monkey Shoulder LIVE to Kuala Lumpur from 21 August to 12 September 2026, a city-wide music series in collaboration with British DJ and broadcaster Gilles Peterson, Worldwide FM and homegrown music collective Saturday Selects.
The city-wide series spans multiple nights at venues including kyō, ykō, WET Deck at W Kuala Lumpur, Desire Limitless and SOULED OUT Kuala Lumpur, with music ranging from jazz and soul to house, hip-hop and forward-thinking club sounds.
Lineups curated by Saturday Selects will feature artists including Roshan, MIA and LZZY, alongside other local and international selectors. Saturday Selects has been championing Kuala Lumpur's independent music scene since 2016, with past guests including Jarreau Vandal, LB aka Labat, Yung Singh, Jyoty, La Mamies, Musclecars and Jengi.
The series will also feature Monkey Shoulder cocktails including the Ginger Monkey and Monkey Highball, with the events taking place in intimate bar and nightlife settings across the city.
