Australian wine producers and winemakers gathered in Kuala Lumpur on 14 October for the Australian Wine Showcase Southeast Asia 2026, bringing wines from different regions and grape varieties together under one roof.
Held at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, the Showcase was part of a six-city Southeast Asian programme, with stops in Bangkok (5 October), Ho Chi Minh City (7 October), Hanoi (9 October), Manila (12 October) and Jakarta (16 October).
The 2026 programme expanded to six markets, building on the 2024 edition, which welcomed almost 800 trade visitors across four Southeast Asian markets.
With 65 wine regions, Australia offers a wide range of styles, from fresh, lighter wines to richer expressions. Many are well suited to food pairing, making them worth exploring alongside Malaysia's diverse cuisines.
