Chivas Regal has introduced a new limited edition 16 year old blended Scotch whisky developed in collaboration with Formula 1 driver and brand ambassador Charles Leclerc.
Created with Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, the blend brings together 16 whiskies, each aged for at least 16 years, a nod to Leclerc’s racing number.
During development, Leclerc explored several whiskies before settling on the sherry cask-matured Longmorn single malt as a key influence. He also travelled to Scotland to learn more about the production process before working with Hyslop to finalise the blend.
On the nose, Chivas Regal 16 offers notes of sweet mandarin, raisins and manuka honey, followed by cinnamon and sticky toffee. The palate brings orange marmalade and apple cake, alongside toasted oak and ginger spice, while the finish is described as rich, velvety and long.
Chivas Regal 16 marks the first time the brand has released a 16-year-old expression and was unveiled by Leclerc and Hyslop in Miami ahead of the Grand Prix.
This limited edition expression is available in Malaysia from 1 October 2026 and can be purchased through the official Pernod Ricard Malaysia Shopee store (RSP RM425).
