This new exclusive and semi private lounge bar located on the 4th Floor of Wisma Noble Land is led by industry veteran Ben Ng (of Penang's Mish Mash cocktail bar and Dram & Leaf specialist bottle shop). The lounge primarily caters to lounge members and access to public is via reservations only.

Singleton 39 year old launch at The Chamber, Starhill Bukit Bintang

We had the honour of not just to be one of the first people to check out The Chamber which was newly opened in Starhill, but also to sample a new Rare and Exceptional expression by Diageo - The Singleton of Glen Ord 39 Year Old, Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 


Bottled at 46.2% abv, this 39-year old is a limited expression curated by the distillery's master distiller, Maureen Robinson, using a 12yr old Gen Ord which then spent another 27 years matured in a combination of European oak casks that had previously held port, red wine, Pedro Ximenez, oloroso sherry, and then finished off in Bordeaux red wine casks.

Last Thursday saw the official launch of The Chamber at The Starhill, Kuala Lumpur.

The Chamber launch party was hosted by the CEO, Justin Lim, with partners Joseph Yeoh and Michael Chai. The 37-year-old Justin aims to offer a large curation labels and brands from the best vineyards, distilleries and breweries from his global travels.

Winners of the HennessyMyWay Bartenders Challenge

10 Malaysia winners of the HennessyMyWay Sustainable Cocktail challenge were recently announced with each bartended being awarded a cash prize of 200 EUROS, Hennessy merchandise and qualify for the Top 40 Global  Challenge.

Dictador's Rums and Gins Now Available in Malaysia

Based in Cartagena (Colombia), Dictador is a long-established rum producer that started in 1913 as DestilerĂ­a Colombiana. It was founded by a descendant of Severo Arango y Ferro -- nicknamed 'El Dictador' -- a Spanish official who took to liking rums when he visited the coastal town of Cartagena during the 1700s.

What sets Dictador's rums apart is the use of fermented sugar cane honey (sugar cane juice that has been partially evaporated) as a base ingredient, as opposed to the more commonly used molasses (which is a by-product of refining sugarcane or sugar beets into sugar). Also, Dictador’s rums have no added sugar, which means that the sweetness of the rums are purely from the rum-making process.
