The Glendronach Distillery has introduced a new collection of Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky -The Master’s Anthology, highlighting the distillery’s long-established focus on sherry cask maturation.
Curated by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, the series features three non-age-statement expressions, each featuring a different dimension of the distillery’s character, while maintaining The Glendronach’s signature style.
Ode to The Valley is matured in a combination of port and sherry casks, with a flavour profile described as floral and berry-led. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV and priced at MYR 468.
Ode to The Embers is notable as a rare peated expression from the distillery. Matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks, it carries smoky notes alongside spiced sweetness. It is bottled at 48.4% ABV with an RRP of MYR 493.
The third release, Ode to The Dark, is positioned as the deepest and richest expression in the anthology. Matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, it features flavours such as dark chocolate, coffee, and black fruits. It is bottled at 50.8% ABV and priced at MYR 517.
