Gaia’s KL and Neo Bar KL have opened side by side on Level 37 of ILHAM Tower, creating a seamless night out that takes one from creative cocktails to woodfire flavours within the same floor.
Neo Bar KL is a cocktail bar that takes an exploratory approach to drinks and experience playing with nostalgia, emotion, and narrative in its menu design.
Cocktails from its main menu incorporate interactive elements and varied textures, while its Sip-Cycle menu repurposes ingredients from the main cocktail list into new creations as part of an initiative to reduce waste.
The space carries a contemporary art gallery vibe, with an outdoor patio that overlooks the Kuala Lumpur skyline.
Right next door is Gaia’s KL, a restaurant focused on Langkasuka-influenced cooking.
The menu draws from the flavours and produce of the ancient northern Malay kingdom, with a charcoal oven at the centre of its kitchen.
The space feels refined yet easy-going, as the dishes are designed to be approachable rather than formal.
Like the bar, it also boasts a stunning view of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, with its private dining room offering a clear view of the iconic Merdeka 118 tower.
