Hennessy has opened registrations for Hennessy MyWay 2026, its global bartending competition for professional bartenders.

The competition invites bartenders to submit original cocktail videos, with sustainability as a key judging factor. 

Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week 2026: 28 April – 3 May

Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Week (KLCW) returns for its 3rd edition, featuring guest shifts from top bars across Asia, cocktail and food pairing dinners, industry talks and masterclasses, and parties.

Hennessy has marked the arrival of Chinese New Year 2026 with the launch of a limited-edition collection celebrating the Year of the Horse. 

The release features specially designed editions of Hennessy V.S.O.P, Hennessy X.O, and Hennessy Paradis. The collection also reflects Hennessy’s long-standing relationship with Chinese culture, which dates back to 1859, when the Maison first shipped twelve crates of Old Pale Cognac to China.

Now in its second year, Fifty Tales welcomes the Lunar New Year with the return of its Chinese New Year Cincai Dinner, once again in collaboration with Brown-Forman. 

Available from 8 January to 2 March 2026, the limited-time menu includes Chinese New Year cocktails and the restaurant’s signature Roasted Corn-Fed Chicken, Truffle Hokkien Char, and Szechuan-style cabbage, alongside the Fifty Tales Yee Sang (with salted guava and calamansi sauce and Chilean abalone).

Deanston Virgin Oak Chinese New Year 2026 Packaging for Malaysia

Deanston Virgin Oak launched a limited Chinese New Year 2026 packaging in Malaysia, marking the Year of the Horse with artwork inspired by Scotland’s Kelpies.

The Kelpies are world-famous 30-metre-high, 300-tonne stainless steel equine sculptures located between the Scottish towns of Falkirk and Grangemouth. 

The Deanston Virgin Oak single malt is matured in ex-bourbon barrels then finished in Virgin American oak for 9–12 months and bottled at 46.3% ABV.

Angostura 2026 Charity Calendar

Following up on their inaugural 2025 calendar, Angostura Malaysia has launched its 2026 Charity Calendar in support of PAWS Malaysia, helping rescued cats and dogs find a second chance at life. This year’s edition, entitled “A Toast to Second Chances”, showcases 13 Malaysian bartenders alongside adorable animals from PAWS awaiting adoption.
